Space school show at Laurencekirk Primary 2006

Space- The Solar System and Beyond with Astronauts!

During June 2006, we supported Careers Scotland's "Blast off to Science" events in primary schools, all over Scotland, as part of Scottish Space School. Around 4,000 P5-P7 children had the opportunity to see the specially updated 3D show and meet Astronauts and space scientists. You can find out more about Space - The Solar System & Beyond and booking the show here

Space - The Solar System and Beyond, is a 35-40 minute program and usually four or five shows can be provided in a school day. The number of children per show will be determined by the size of room, which must have good blackout. Most AV rooms will accommodate a minimum of 20 children plus our large 2.4m screen and stereoscopic 3D projection system. Large audiences of over 50 can be possible where room size permits. However, we recommend that a single class, around 30 pupils, is best if they are doing or have recently done the Space topic, as this allows us more time for questions afterwards.
After school sessions and special events can also be provided, please ask for details.
